As usual May is when we start to get lots of calls from men that are getting married or attending a wedding over the summer. So here is a checklist to help you.
Invest in a lightweight suit heavy fabrics will look terrible and make you too hot! A classic fine wool is breathable and cool, it is also timeless and if you have it made to fit, you can wear it for years to come.
Always wear a waistcoat then you can lose your jacket when it gets warm and you will still look great – we suggest silk, it looks amazing.
Buy a made-to-measure shirt then you can lose the waistcoat when it gets hotter still, and you will look good on the dance floor into the evening. If you can afford it, have a second shirt for the evening, so you can freshen up.
Thinks about accessories black shoes and socks will not work with a very pale suit; do you have cufflinks? Have you a tie that co-ordinates?
Whatever you do, don't panic we can help - make your fitting appointment sooner rather than later, style takes time, but we can express our service if you have only two or three weeks to go.
