Kunal has been with us now for just over 6 months - so now he has settled in, it's time to find out a bit more about him.
Why did you decide to join Suit the City?
I was looking for a tried and tested franchise model and knew that as I was starting a business in a new field, I would require support in all aspects from setting up the business, to technical skills training.
What did you do before joining Suit the City?
I was in compliance within the pharmaceutical industry, so this is a big change for me, but one I have taken in my stride.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I enjoy wearing smart casual clothes, shirts and my chinos are always finished off with a jacket. Suits are probably my most loved item of clothing (hence one of the reasons that I chose this business) and I like accessories such as a good watch, pocket square and cufflinks.
What is your favourite item of clothing?
My made-to-measure Holland and Sherry, navy, 2-piece suit. It fits me so well, looks and feels smart and instills me with confidence.
What do you do when you aren’t working?
We have a busy family life with two young boys (6 and 7), and weekend mornings are spent taking them to their various activities, namely football, rugby and cricket. I play badminton and swim most weeks, love to read, and getting the family out for long walks.
Where would you like to travel to?
South America, Brazil especially, I would like to trek through the Amazon; and Argentina to experience the different climates within the one country
Who is your inspiration?
My father, he is a business man as well and the trait I admire most is his ability to remain calm in all situations therefore allowing him to solve problems in the best possible way.
What do you most like about your life as a franchisee with Suit the City?
I really enjoy the networking and being out and about meeting people. The fact that I’m running my own business and how well I do depends on how much I put into it. All decisions are made by me but having the franchisors on hand for on-going advice and guidance is great.
